This class provides ebb and flow of stretching and resisting muscles, all within the parameters of the Pilates method.
Students regularly mention they need to stretch more often, but admit they don’t take the time to do so. This class provides the opportunity to work on this goal, while including safe and occasionally unique ways of stretching.
It is not balanced to focus only on the stretching or lengthening element of any muscle. Muscles need the correct balance of stretching and strengthening. And this brings into play the resist part of the class; safe and effective ways to strengthen all muscle groupings, also within the parameters of the Pilates method.
This is a mixed level class. It is suggested that you have participated in at least one session of Fundamentals.
